电讯报文章称，沙特联四大俱乐部吉达联合、利雅得新月、利雅得胜利、吉达国民都对拉什福德感兴趣，同时有消息称，升班马卡迪西亚也有意拉什福德。尽管不是PIF（沙特公共投资基金）旗下的球队，但卡迪西亚资金雄厚。
